A warm welcome always awaits visitors to the Ignatian Spirituality Centre,
whether they come to pray, to learn or just to chat.

The basement chapel provides a tranquil atmosphere for private prayer and for the community celebration of the Eucharist

Also available in the basement is the Art Room. Here can be found clay, paints and other resources which can facilitate personal expression and non-verbal communication with God

The ground floor contains two large meeting rooms which can be used for informal gatherings or for more formal lectures, and the all-important kitchen for essential refreshments

Upstairs are other meeting rooms, the administrator's office and a variety of smaller room which can be used for personal interviews during retreats, prayer guidance or spiritual direction

The centre is run by a team of religious, priests & lay people who belong to or are affiliated with, the Society of Jesus. The spirituality in which the Centre is grounded is based on that of St Ignatius of Loyola (founder of the Jesuits).

Although the Centre resides close to the heart of the busy city of Glasgow it is also situated by the beautiful Kelvingrove Park and moments of quiet can be enjoyed viewing the delightful gardens in the park or walking along the tranquil River Kelvin which flows through the park.
